Refund Policy

For training courses

IMPORTANT: It is your responsibility as the student to ensure that the course you enrol onto is suitable for your insurance requirements. If you are unsure if a course will be accepted by your insurance please contact them directly before enrolling.

Can I cancel or transfer my course?

All classroom based course fees/deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable this includes any voucher payments or loan payments once your course place has been reserved.

However, for classroom based bookings, in the event of a genuine reason (medical only) for non-attendance or cancellation (written proof of which will be required and does not include childcare or holidays), a request for transfer may be considered at the discretion of The Lash And Beauty Studio. A transfer fee of £50 per training date will apply to reschedule your course. If your course is a 2 day course you will be expected to pay £50 x2 and so on.

For live online training sessions

Students need to cancel their live online session with a minimum of 48 hours notice if they cannot attend. If a student cancels their live slot with less than 48 hours notice more than three times they will not be allowed to book on any future live training sessions as this repeatedly prevents other students from being able to take the slot.

For Basic Online Training

All course fees are non-refundable once you have enrolled onto a course. There is a £12 certificate fee that is payable upon completion of your course. Your certificate will be emailed to you in PDF format.

All certificates for all training courses (both online and classroom based) are delivered by email. We do NOT offer paper copies.

For digital products

Once a product has been purchased by you, no right of cancellation or refund exists under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 due to the electronic nature of our products. Any refunds shall be at our sole and absolute discretion. You agree that under no circumstances whatsoever shall you initiate any chargebacks via your payment provider. You agree that any payments made by you for any of our products are final and may not be charged back. We reserve the right to alter any of our prices from time to time.

For physical products

If a delivery has been damaged in transit, is faulty, missing products or you have received the wrong products in error, please fill out our ‘Order Returns Slip’. This can be found at the back of the LashBase leaflet included in your order. You will need to complete and return this, within 14 days of order receipt to arrange a replacement or a refund along with the return of the faulty item by second class post.

For items such as adhesive, they must first be returned for testing before any refund is made. If the product is deemed to be faulty, a full refund will be processed. In such cases, we will refund the postage cost of returning the item and any replacement will be sent with no further P&P charge.

If the product is deemed “good”, you can choose to have the product returned to you or accept a credit minus restocking and admin fees. Please be aware that testing a product’s quality and receiving the results is often a 2-3 week process. If you are not available to receive your order and it is returned to us, your payment will be refunded minus any shipping charges already paid and any costs incurred in returning the package to us.

Please note we do not accept returns on products in our Outlet Category unless items have been damaged in transit.

Sale Returns. Unfortunately, we do not accept refunds for products ordered in any sale.

Cancellation of Orders of physical products

Except at the busiest time of the year, e.g. Christmas and Black Friday, orders are normally dispatched to you on the same working day of receipt by us. Once your order is placed, we begin the picking, packing, and dispatching of your order immediately. This means that once you have clicked to place your order, you cannot cancel, make changes or add any extra items.

If you change your mind you can still cancel AFTER your order has been sent or after receiving the goods the following procedures apply:

When you receive your order, as per the EU Distance Selling Directive, you have a “cooling-off period” of 14 days to return the ordered products if you have changed your mind and wish to cancel. The goods must be returned unused, unopened, and in the same condition as they were originally dispatched from LashBase. We will not accept for exchange or refund any item which has been used or is not in the exact condition in which it was dispatched by us, even if the products were sent in error.

To return an item, please fill out our ‘Order Returns Slip’. This can found at the back of the LashBase leaflet included in your order. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us (we recommend you get Proof of Posting). There will be no refund of the cost of returning the goods or for the original shipping fee paid from the order that is being returned. Any free gifts associated with an item must be returned at the same time. Please return the completed return slip along with the items to the address at the bottom of the page. Refunds will be made to the original charged account within 7 days of receipt of the returned goods. Please note: LashBase cannot accept returns for opened/used LashBase Beauty Products.

If an attempt to deliver goods continues to fail through no fault of the couriers (you are not in or have entered the wrong address etc.) and is subsequently returned to us, we will not refund for shipping and also, the cost incurred to us for the courier returning the goods will be deducted from any refunds. If the goods are to be sent out again a shipping charge will apply.

Regulations state for orders over £42 Customers have:

  • 14 days after item received to cancel.
  • 14 days to return after notifying desire to cancel
  • 14 days to receive refund after item received by seller
  • 30 days to notify non-receipt of delivery

These conditions do not affect your statutory rights
